Hardware Engineer - Lead
The Lead the hardware designer team in order to supply electronics circuits for automotive safety systems within quality, time and cost constraints.
Human resource management including tasks assignment, schedule tracking, and mentoring
Technical interface with other development teams like software, system, testing
Approve new concepts and new methodologies in electronics development
Release design versions
Propose continuous improvement process for electronics circuits development methods
Also must be able to develop advanced restraint control hardware within quality, time and cost constraints.
Circuit analysis including worst case, monte-carlo, etc.
Interface with ECAD for circuit board layout, compliance with Manufacturing Design Rules.
Control and release Electrical BOM.
Work with product assurance to develop test specifications on required test equipment.
Interface with EMC activities to ensure compliance and final approvals from customer.
Interface with suppliers for development of component specifications, resolving open issues and ensure part availability.
Identification and implementation of all necessary design changes.
Participate in design reviews.
Perform electrical development of bench testing.
Documentation of all aspects in the product development process.
Development of hardware/software interface specifications.
Lead design reviews with peers and Technical Specialists.
Design change tracking.
Execute development in accordance with Autoliv Design Process.
